Apache vs Skype
So apparently Skype doesn’t know that port 80 is used for HTTP. Or maybe it doesn’t care. While trying to setup a reverse proxy I came across this interesting error message. Even after I had gone to the extreme length of disabling my firewall. Easily resolved. You just need to start Apache Server before starting Skype. Skype occupies the port and prevents Apache from getting web requests. Thanks Skype.
